I am Anahita, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. My professional journey has been profoundly influenced by my personal experiences, which have included various challenges from childhood through adulthood. It took me several years to overcome these struggles. My own battles with mental health, combined with my innate gifts of intuition, empathy, advocacy, and curiosity, have shaped me into a competent therapist, ready to assist others on their path to healing. I specialize in helping individuals break free from unhelpful patterns, heal from trauma, manage anxiety and depression, enhance their relationships, navigate grief and loss, and transition through life's various stages. I also have expertise in ERP, a highly effective approach for conditions such as OCD and other obsessive-compulsive disorders. Additionally, I am skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based modalities to address a wide range of mental health issues. I believe that healing often begins with acknowledging and embracing our pain, just as the rose emerges from the thorn. My mission is to provide my clients with a safe and nurturing space.
